Responsibilities & Essential Functions:
The NARS Area Director role is an excellent career opportunity for a senior sales management professional with deep business development experience and a successful background in leading, motivating, and supervising a team of sales and sales support personnel. The Southwest is one of the largest revenue producing territories within NARS and is staffed with 10 direct reports. A strong leader is required in this function.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:


* Achieving sales results through team members, major accounts, and strategic partners.

* Frequent interaction with subordinates, key customers, resellers and peer groups, as well as additional operating companies at various management levels.
Requirements:


* BA/BS required / concentration in Marketing or Business Administration preferred; MA/MS desired.

* Previous management experience is essential, as is demonstrated success in major enterprise selling.

* Experience selling through and managing IT reseller / channel partners is required.

* Experience managing and coaching sales teams in a major account and/or reseller arena is preferred.

* Demonstrate a record of accomplishment delivering positive results versus assigned sales goals.

* Demonstrate ability to build cooperative strategic partnerships and alliances across operating companies and channel partners.

* Strong coaching and leadership skills required.

* Demonstrate strong communication skills (both written and verbal).
