Role Summary
Conduct initial underwriting and customer research to make sound credit decisions and custom credit line recommendations. Will have responsibility for portfolio of assigned accounts and own critical aspects of risk monitoring. Responsible for supporting sales and other related departments.
Essential Functions:
Conduct initial customer analysis including financial statement review, cash flow analysis, payment performance and industry risk.
Work with sales to manage and resolve all credit related issues for customers.
Prepare basic risk assessment and present management with clear and concise recommendations
Recommend internal credit lines and perform aspects of portfolio monitoring & management.
** The salary range for this position is $40k-52k**
Requirements:
Applicant Qualifications:
Associate Degree with 2 years experience in financial statement analysis, underwriting, or commercial credit experience with bank or financial services company.
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite including: Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and financial spreading software.
Experience making credit recommendations to sales and management.
Desired Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Business or Finance with 3 years in underwriting, banking, or commercial credit experience.
Experience providing customers service and detailed oriented with ability to organize, prioritize, and multitask with a fast paced team environment.
