Objectives:
* Support innovative design, development, implementation and deployment of learning & development programs created for a global audience.
* Drive strategic direction, learning portal brand recognition and adoption associated GDO Global Services Academy site and tools.
* Take a leadership role regarding learning technology consultancy, drive continued ease of integration toward virtual and blended learning solutions.
* Serve as a role model for change, transition and transformation management in a professional learning environment.
Essential Functions:
* Gather customer requirements and create e-learning programs and content as required.
* Work collaboratively with counterparts in GDO L&D as well as other Global Learning organizations to maximize learner satisfaction and business results.
* Implement, configure, maintain and support GDO Learning software and tools within the GDO Global Services Academy.
* Represent GDO L&D on the Xerox Worldwide Learning Network Technical Council.
* Lead transition of the GDO Global Services Academy to the Corporate SharePoint environment.
* Provide consultative assistance to members of the GDO L&D team on the implementation of the Xerox Learning Content Management System and the use of new Learning Technologies in the internal creation of learning content that can be wrapped into the Force 10 environment.
* Serve as Content Librarian for the L&D organization.
Requirements:
Qualifications:
* BS degree required; graduate degree desired.
* In depth knowledge of adult learning theory and instructional design practices.
* Field sales, operations and marketing experiences a plus.
* LMS and LCMS experience.
* Experience managing vendor relationships.
* Strong written, verbal and presentation skills.
* Excellent performance consulting skills with experience in managing multiple clients and creating effective partnerships at all levels.
* Ability to manage and analyze performance metrics.
* Strong customer service skills; demonstrated ability to influence, negotiate, mediate and coach.
* Demonstrate technical proficiency and experience in implementing Wikis, Blogs and other learning technologies and applications such as virtual classroom.
* Strong project management skills with a proven record of accomplishment in managing complex projects.
* Ability to gather requirements, analyze and translate into required deliverables.
* Must be able to effectively and efficiently plan, prioritize and organize.
* Resourceful and motivated; quick learner able to take initiative without direction.
* Experience in the use of Adobe Connect and Adobe Presenter a plus.
* Knowledge of GDO offerings, capabilities and platforms a plus.
* LSS Green Belt a plus.
