Purpose & Scope:
The International Compensation & Benefits role will provide functional leadership and oversight in international benefits strategy, design, and delivery.

This position will report into the Director, Global Compensation & Benefits and will be a key member of the COE management team. The individual assuming this role will work with corporate and regional management teams to align all benefit programs to achieve enterprise-wide business goals, as well as local business priorities.

Responsibilities:
This role will oversee process for the establishment and maintenance of a centralized and automated source of record for all non-United States benefit and compensation plans, including detail descriptions of plans and eligibility, as well as financial liabilities associated with those plans. While the primary focus will be on international pension and other material benefits, the intention is a broad view on the total rewards alignment across the Companys international operations, working closely with other compensation and benefits resources to coordinate activity across the Company.

Specific responsibilities include:

* Build and maintain a robust process for collecting eternal international market competitiveness and practice intelligence, with primary initial focus on pensions, controls, and governance processes (to include monitoring and managing the companys financial risks with regard to its international post-employment benefits).
* Develops comprehensive strategy and transition plan on international post-employment benefits (pensions, medical, life, etc.); from legacy plans to a contemporary and market-influenced, business-strategy-driven set of offerings.
* Partners with existing regional compensation and benefits resources regional resources to ensure coordinated policy development, program design, and effective and efficient process management.
* Partner with internal financial resources and external actuarial advisors to monitor international benefits costs and liabilities.
* Partner with internal legal resources to monitor international developments around socially mandated benefits and comprehend changes required and compliance.
* Collaborates with Manager, Executive Compensation and Manager, Global Mobility to develop and implement effective compensation and benefits programs and processes for globally mobile employees (expatriate and third country national assignments, developmental moves, short-term assignments, etc.), including localization policy and practice.
* Works closely with senior HR Business Partners on various international benefits requirements and action plans.
* Serves as international lead on HR M&A due diligence and integration as well as new market entry as assigned.
Requirements:

* BA / BS degree required; MBA / other advanced degree preferable (concentration in finance is desirable).
* Minimum of 10-years of HR management experience, with at least five years of progressive benefits experience with Fortune 500 companies, preferably technology-focused with significant operations in Europe and Asia.
* Significant experience and proven track record in leading benefits initiatives in markets outside of the United States direct international assignment experience a plus.
* Deep knowledge of international compensation and benefits issues and practices, with a comprehensive knowledge of how these relate to the broader HR function and the business at large.
* Operational / generalist experience focused on balancing enterprise requirements and organizational objectives.
* Ability to quickly build effective relationships and establish credibility with senior HR leaders as well as key business leaders (especially international).
* Experience working in an environment where compensation and benefits have been drivers of change.
